The side make the trip to Bath looking to extend a run that has seen them lose just one match in all competitions since the end of November.
With Andy Farrell and Fabio Ongaro away on international duty, Rodd Penney and Matt Cairns come into the starting line-up and the other changes see Cobus Visagie return to tight-head and Nick Lloyd getting the nod on the other side of the front row.
Kevin Yates is rested for the game.
As a result, Cencus Johnston moves to the bench with Shane Byrne, Tim Taylor and Richard Haughton the other changes to the replacements.
Adam Powell and Tom Mercey are away with England U20 side, while Ben Johnston, Ben Russell and Thomas Castaignede were not considered due to injury.
"We were pleased with the victory over Gloucester last weekend but we now have to focus on what will be another extremely hard game at Bath," said Gaffney.
"Bath have a very impressive home record this season so we know it's going to be tough. But we have put ourselves in a good position in the Premiership and we want to build on that.
Form: Bath's 7-13 reversal at London Irish on Saturday put paid to a three game winning run in all competitions, however at the Rec Bath continue to be a force with six straight victories since a 12-19 defeat by Bristol on 18 November. Saracens have suffered just a single defeat in any competition since November: 15-28 at Leicester in the Guinness Premiership on New Year's Day. Bath have won only one of their last four encounters with Saracens, whilst Sarries are actually unbeaten at the Rec since a 3-25 defeat in October 2003. Glen Jackson needs only one more point to become the first Saracen to tally 500 career points in the Premiership, whilst Dan Scarbrough's next game will be his 100th in the Premiership
