Tourists ready for Lansdowne Road send-off

Pacific Islanders coach Pat Lam has been forced to make a number of changes to his XV ahead of Saturday's clash with Ireland at Lansdowne Road.

The tourists are without mercurial wing Rupeni Caucaunibuca and experienced flank Semo Sititi after the pair took their leave from the party citing 'personal reasons'.

Caucaunibuca scored a try in his Islanders debut in last weekend's 34-22 loss to Scotland after missing the Wales game on account of a lost passport. The Fijian star returned to his club, Agen, for whom he has been the top try-scorer in France's Top 14 for the previous two seasons.

Sititi, the Samoa captain, played in the tour opener against Wales and came off the bench on Saturday at Murrayfield. He returned to Japan, where he plays for NTT Docomo.

Caucaunibuca is replaced by Kameli Ratuvou who slides out to wing after scoring two tries against Scotland from centre; Ratuvou's berth in midfield is filled by the hard-hitting Seru Rabeni.

The back row is rejigged with Hale T-Pole and Ma'ama Molitika returning at number eight and blindside respectively.

The halfback and locking pairings are kept intact, but there are two changes in the front row with Tonga's Aleki Lutui and Samoa's Justin Va'a  replacing Mahonri Schwalger and Taufa'ao Felise.

Pacific Islanders: 15 Norman Ligairi (Brive, Fiji), 14 Lome Fa'atau (Wellington, Samoa), 13 Seru Rabeni (Leicester, Fiji), 12 Elvis Seveali'i (Sale, Samoa), 11 Kameli Ratuvou (Saracens, Fiji), 10 Tusi Pisi (Massey, Samoa), 11  Moses Rauluni (Saracens, Fiji), 8 Hale T-Pole (Southland, Tonga), 7 Nili Latu (Bay of Plenty, Tonga), 6 Ma'ama Molitika (IBM, Tonga), 5 Daniel Leo (Wasps, Samoa), 4 Simon Raiwalui (Saracens, Fiji, captain), 3 Tevita Taumoepeau (Worcester, Tonga), 2 Aleki Lutui (Worcester, Tonga), 1 Justin Va'a (Glasgow, Samoa).
